Little Red Riding Hood
In today's new puzzle we feature a scene from the Little Red Riding Hood story. Little Red Riding Hood, or Little Red Ridinghood, also known as Little Red Cap or simply Red Riding Hood, is a French and later European fairy tale about a young girl and a Big Bad Wolf. Numerous authors have rewritten or adapted this tale. One of the most known versions was written by the the Brothers Grimm. In the 19th century two separate German versions were retold to Jacob Grimm and his younger brother Wilhelm Grimm the first by Jeanette Hassenpflug and the second by Marie Hassenpflug. The brothers turned the first version to the main body of the story and the second into a sequel of it.
Today's new puzzle is based on a illustration of a Bengal tiger(Panthera tigris tigris). The Bengal tiger's coat is yellow to light orange, with stripes ranging from dark brown to black; the belly and the interior parts of the limbs are white, and the tail is orange with black rings. Tigers inhabit tropical moist evergreen forests, tropical dry forests, tropical and subtropical moist deciduous forests, mangroves, subtropical and temperate upland forests, and alluvial grasslands. Tigers are carnivores. They prefer hunting large ungulates such as chital, sambar, gaur, and to a lesser extent also barasingha, water buffalo, nilgai, serow and takin. Among the medium-sized prey species they frequently kill wild boar, and occasionally hog deer, muntjac and Gray langur. Small prey species such as porcupines, hares and peafowl form a very small part in their diet.

The wood of lilac is close-grained, diffuse-porous, extremely hard and one of the densest in Europe. Lilac wood has traditionally been used for engraving, musical instruments, knife handles etc.
