Today we're heading to the bowling alley for a game with friends. The most common types of indoor bowling games include ten-pin, nine-pin, candlepin, duckpin and five-pin bowling. The earliest most primitive forms of bowling can be dated back to Ancient Egypt and the Roman Empire. The first standardized rules for bowling were established in New York City, on September 9, 1895. The oldest surviving bowling alley in the United States is part of the summer estate of Henry C. Bowen in Woodstock, Connecticut, at Roseland Cottage. The alley, now part of Historic New England's Roseland Cottage house museum, dates to the construction of the cottage in 1846.

This new animal jigsaw puzzle features a lynx. Lynx have short tails and characteristic tufts of black hair on the tips of their ears. They have a ruff under the neck, which has black bars (not very visible), resembling a bow tie. They have large, padded paws for walking on snow, and long whiskers on the face. Their body color varies from medium brown to goldish to beige-white; and occasionally, is marked with dark brown spots, especially on the limbs. All species of lynx also have white fur on their chests, bellies and on the insides of their legs, which are extensions of the chest and belly fur.

Packet ships were small boats designed for domestic mail, passenger and freight transportation in Europe and its colonies, including North American rivers and canals. The American canal packet boats were typically narrow (about 14 feet) to accommodate canals, but might be 70–90 feet long. They could carry up to 60 passengers.
