About The Firefighters Jigaw Puzzle:
Although people have fought fires since there have been valuable things to burn, the first instance of organized professionals combating structural fires occurred in Ancient Egypt. In many countries, while most firefighters are volunteers, firefighters may also be employed as full-time workers and paid a salary. Fire fighting has some basic skills: prevention, rescue, self-preservation, preservation of property, basic first aid, and fire control. Many firefighters are sworn officers with command structures similar to the military and police. They do not have general police powers, but have specific powers of enforcement and control in fire and emergency situations.
