Brightly Colored Flamingos Puzzle Details:

About: Flamingos are very social birds; they live in colonies whose population can number in the thousands. Young flamingos hatch with grayish-red plumage, but adults range from light pink to bright red due to aqueous bacteria and beta-carotene obtained from their food supply. Flamingos filter-feed on brine shrimp and blue-green algae as well as larva, small insects, mollusks and crustaceans making them omnivores. Flamingos usually stand on one leg while the other is tucked beneath their bodies -this behaviour is not fully understood.

But once a person has earned their confidence they can be willing and companionable partners and very dependable in work.

Lion Resting

The lion typically inhabits savanna and grassland, although it may take to bush and forest. Highly distinctive, the male lion is easily recognised by its mane (that you can see in this fun new puzzle), and its face is one of the most widely recognised animal symbols in human culture. Lions spend much of their time resting and are inactive for about 20 hours per day. They spend an average of two hours a day walking and 50 minutes eating. Lions prefer to scavenge when the opportunity presents itself. Lions usually hunt in coordinated groups and stalk their chosen prey. The prey consists mainly of medium-sized mammals, with a preference for wildebeest, zebras, buffalo, and warthogs in Africa and nilgai, wild boar, and several deer species in India.

The Red Ear Slider Turtle is the most popular pet turtle in the world. It is native to the southern United States and northern Mexico, but has become established in other places because of pet releases and it has become an invasive species in many areas, where it outcompetes native species. Red-eared sliders get their name from the small red dash around their ears. The "slider" part of their name comes from their ability to slide off rocks and logs and into the water quickly. This species was previously known as Troost's turtle in honour of an American herpetologist.

Tigers inhabit tropical moist evergreen forests, tropical dry forests, tropical and subtropical moist deciduous forests, mangroves, subtropical and temperate upland forests, and alluvial grasslands. Tigers are carnivores. They prefer hunting large ungulates such as chital, sambar, gaur, and to a lesser extent also barasingha, water buffalo, nilgai, serow and takin.
