About: Dragonflies are insects that live on every continent except Antarctica. Adult dragonflies are characterized by large, multifaceted eyes, two pairs of strong, transparent wings, sometimes with colored patches, and an elongated body. Many dragonflies have brilliant iridescent or metallic colors produced by structural coloration, making them conspicuous in flight. They are fast, agile fliers, sometimes migrating across oceans, and often live near water. In this fun new puzzle we feature a colorful illustration of such an insect resting on blade of grass. Think you can put it back together fast enough to get on our daily leader boards? Give it a try!

Zebras

In today's new puzzle we feature the zebra. Zebras are several species of African equids (horse family) commonly known by their distinctive black and white striped coats. There are three species of zebras: the plains zebra, the Grevy's zebra and the mountain zebra. So are the zebras black with white stripes or white with black stripes? Here's the answer: it was previously believed that zebras were white animals with black stripes, since some zebras have white underbellies; but embryological evidence, however, shows that the animal's background color is black and the white stripes and bellies are additions. Now you know, zebras are black with white stripes. Enjoy the puzzle.

Woodpecker On A Tree

Woodpeckers live in forests or woodland habitats, although a few species are known that live in treeless areas, such as rocky hillsides and deserts. They mostly forage for insect prey on the trunks and branches of trees, and often communicate by drumming with their beak, producing a reverberatory sound that can be heard at some distance. They sometimes come into conflict with humans when they make holes in buildings or feed on fruit crops, but perform a useful service by their removal of insect pests on trees. The woodpecker is known for its ability to acquire wood-boring grubs from the trunks and branches. Having hammered a hole into the wood, the prey is extracted by use of a long, barbed tongue. In this fun new puzzle we feature such a bird on the side of a tree looking for it's next meal. Click start and enjoy!

Play

Iguana

This type of herbivorous lizards native to tropical areas of Mexico, Central America, South America, and the Caribbean. Two species are included in the genus Iguana: the green iguana, which is widespread throughout its range and a popular pet, and the Lesser Antillean iguana, which is native to the Lesser Antilles and endangered due to habitat destruction. The American pet trade has put a great demand on the green iguana; 800,000 iguanas were imported into the U.S. in 1995 alone, primarily originating from captive farming operations based in their native countries.
