In this wildlife themed jigsaw puzzle we feature four zebras on a grassy plain. Zebras are generally social animals that live in small harems to large herds. There are three species of zebras: the plains zebra, the mountain zebra and the Grevy's zebra. Zebras live in a variety of habitats, such as grasslands, savannas, woodlands, thorny scrublands, mountains, and coastal hills. The plains zebra (Equus quagga) is the most common, and has or had about six subspecies distributed across much of southern and eastern Africa. It was previously believed that zebras were white animals with black stripes, since some zebras have white underbellies. Embryological evidence, however, shows that the animal's background colour is black and the white stripes and bellies are additions.

Seagulls On A Boat

Seagulls On A Boat

Gulls or seagulls are seabirds that breed on every continent, including the margins of Antarctica, and are found in the high Arctic, as well. Most gull species are migratory, with birds moving to warmer habitats during the winter. Gulls are highly adaptable feeders that opportunistically take a wide range of prey (fish and marine and freshwater invertebrates, terrestrial arthropods and invertebrates such as insects and earthworms, rodents, eggs, reptiles, amphibians, plant items such as seeds and fruit). In addition to taking a wide range prey, gulls display great versatility in how they obtain prey. Prey can be obtained in the air, on water, or on land. In today's new puzzle we feature a couple of seagulls resting on a boat at sea.
