Pizza is cooked in various types of ovens, and a diverse variety of ingredients and toppings are utilized. The original pizza used only mozzarella, the highest quality ones the buffalo mozzarella variant, produced in the surroundings of Naples. Other kinds of cheese may be used for creative alternative recipes (provolone, pecorino romano, ricotta, scamorza and many others), including processed cheeses for mass-market pizzas.

River Arno in Florence
Today's puzzle features a beautiful urban landscape in Florence, Italy, by the river Arno. The river originates on Mount Falterona in the Casentino area of the Apennines, and initially takes a southward curve. The river turns to the west near Arezzo passing through Florence, Empoli and Pisa, flowing into the Tyrrhenian Sea at Marina di Pisa. With a length of 241 kilometers, it is the largest river in the region.

Green Barley Field
In this new puzzle we feature a beautiful view of a green barley field. Barley was one of the first cultivated grains and is now grown widely. It is used as animal fodder, as a source of fermentable material for beer and certain distilled beverages, and as a component of various health foods.
Based on Archibald Thorburn's painting with the same name this jigsaw features two Western Tragopan birds. The Western Tragopan or Western Horned Tragopan (Tragopan melanocephalus) is a medium-sized brightly plumaged pheasant found along the Himalayas from Hazara in northern Pakistan in the west to Uttarakhand within India to the east. The species is highly endangered and globally threatened.
Also known as the puma, mountain lion, or panther, the cougar is a large cat native to the Americas. It is the second heaviest cat in the Western Hemisphere, after the jaguar. Primary food sources include deer, moose, elk, and bighorn sheep, as well as domestic cattle, horses and sheep. It will also hunt species as small as insects and rodents.
About 1,500 species of starfish occur on the seabed in all the world's oceans, from the tropics to frigid polar waters. They typically have a central disc and five arms, though some species have a larger number of arms. Most species are generalist predators, eating microalgae, sponges, bivalves, snails and other small animals. Starfish are keystone species in their respective marine communities. Their relatively large sizes, diverse diets and ability to adapt to different environments makes them ecologically important.
Japanese Stone Lantern
Today's new puzzle features a traditional Japanese stone lantern called a tōrō. A tōrō is made of stone, wood, or metal. In Japan, tōrō were originally used only in Buddhist temples, where they lined and illuminated paths. Lit lanterns were then considered an offering to Buddha.
