Guinea Pig Puzzle Details:

About: A fun new jigsaw featuring a cute guinea pig playing in the grass. The scientific name of the common species is Cavia porcellus, with porcellus being Latin for "little pig". Cavia is New Latin; it is derived from cabiai, the animal's name in the language of the Galibi tribes once native to French Guiana.Cabiai may be an adaptation of the Portuguese cavia (now savia), which is itself derived from the Tupi word sauja, meaning rat. How the animals came to be called "pigs" is not clear. They are built somewhat like pigs, with large heads relative to their bodies, stout necks, and rounded rumps with no tail of any consequence; some of the sounds they emit are very similar to those made by pigs, and they also spend a large amount of time eating. They can survive for long periods in small quarters, like a 'pig pen', and were thus easily transported on ships to Europe.

Gray Wolf Play

Gray Wolf

The wolf, also known as the timber wolf or western wolf, is a canine native to the wilderness and remote areas of Eurasia and North America. It is one of the world's best-known and most-researched animals, with probably more books written about it than any other wildlife species. It is a social animal, travelling in families consisting of a mated pair, accompanied by the pair's adult offspring. The wolf is an apex predator throughout its range, with only humans and tigers posing a serious threat to it. The gray wolf has very dense and fluffy winter fur, with short underfur and long, coarse guard hairs. Coat color ranges from almost pure white through various shades of blond, cream, and ochre to grays, browns, and blacks. Wolves are highly territorial animals, and generally establish territories far larger than they require to survive in order to assure a steady supply of prey. Although social animals, single wolves or mated pairs typically have higher success rates in hunting than do large packs. Gray wolves howl to assemble the pack, to locate each other during a storm or unfamiliar territory and to communicate across great distances. They live in a variety of habitats, raging from deserts, grasslands, forests to arctic tundras. Click start and see this impressive wild animal in this fun puzzle game. Have fun!

Lemurs are generally the most social of the strepsirrhine primates and communicate more with scents and vocalizations than with visual signals. The word "lemur" derives from the word lemures (ghosts or spirits) from Roman mythology and was first used to describe a slender loris due to its nocturnal habits and slow pace, but was later applied to the primates on Madagascar.
