This new puzzle is based on a painting by the French artist Edgar Degas, created around 1871-1872. The painting depicts some horses grazing in a green meadow. In the foreground we can see two horses, a brown and and a white one. In the background we can see some houses, a river with boats and more horses grazing on the green meadow.

Curious White Goat

Goats are naturally curious animals. They like to explore and try anything they might consider interesting to climb or even eat. They are browsing animals, not grazers like cattle and sheep and they will chew on and taste just about anything remotely resembling plant matter to decide whether it is good to eat. Due to their agility and inquisitiveness, they are notorious for escaping their pens. Their intelligence, climbing abilities and curious nature can help them get over most fences and enclosures.

Red Rooster And Hens

In today's puzzle we feature a beautiful red rooster and some hens relaxing in the warm Autumn sun. Roosters are differentiated from hens by the distinctive plumage, the long flowing tails, pointed feathers on their backs and neck and the brighter, and bolder colors. Chickens are gregarious birds and live together in flocks. Roosters are very territorial and protective of their flocks. A rooster's crowing is a loud call and sends a territorial signal to other roosters but it can also be used to inform the flock about sudden disturbances within their surroundings.

Pony Resting In The Shade

It's a hot Summer day and this cute pony has decided to take a well-deserved break in the shade. Ponies are generally considered intelligent and friendly, but are also known to be stubborn and cunning. Compared to other horses, ponies often exhibit thick manes, tails and overall coat, as well as proportionally shorter legs.

King Eider

The king eider spends most of the year in coastal marine ecosystems at high latitudes, and migrates to Arctic tundra to breed in June and July. It is a large sea duck, measuring 50–70 cm (20–28 in) in length with a wingspan of 86–102 cm (34–40 in). The male is unmistakable with its mostly black body, buff-tinged white breast and multicolored head. The head, nape and neck are a pale bluish grey. The cheek is pale green. The bill, separated from the face by a thin black line, is red with a white nail and a large, distinctive yellow knob. This puzzle is based on an illustration from Birds of America (1827) by John James Audubon.

Ruppell's Griffon Vulture

In this new puzzle we feature a beautiful and impressive bird of prey, the Ruppell's griffon vulture. It is native to the Sahel region and East Africa and it was named after Eduard Ruppell - a German naturalist and explorer. Ruppell's vultures are very social, roosting, nesting, and gathering to feed in large flocks. The live in grasslands, mountains, woodlands and are considered to be the highest-flying bird, with confirmed evidence of a flight at an altitude of over 11000 m (37,000 ft).

Black-backed Woodpecker

In today's puzzle we feature a male and a female black-backed woodpecker, also known as the Arctic three-toed woodpecker. The black-backed woodpecker inhabits the forests of North America and is a medium-sized woodpecker. The plumage of these cute woodpeckers is black on the head, back, wings and rump. They are white from the throat to the belly. You can tell the male apart from the female by it's yellow cap.

Also known as sulfur-breasted toucan or rainbow-billed toucan, this colorful Latin American member of the toucan family lives in tropical jungles from southern Mexico to Colombia. The diet of keel-billed toucans consists mostly of a wide range of fruit, but may also include insects. The bill, surprisingly dexterous, allows this toucan to get at, open and eat a variety of fruit that might not otherwise be reached.
