About The Manhattan Bridge View Jigsaw Puzzle Game:

In today's new jigsaw puzzle we're going to New York for an interesting view of the Manhattan Bridge. The Manhattan Bridge is a suspension bridge that crosses the East River in New York City, connecting Lower Manhattan with Downtown Brooklyn. The bridge opened to traffic on December 31, 1909. It was designed by Leon Moisseiff. The Manhattan Bridge was the last of the three suspension bridges built across the lower East River, following the Brooklyn and Williamsburg bridges. The bridge has four vehicle lanes on the upper level, split between two roadways. The lower level has three lanes, four subway tracks, a walkway and a bikeway.

The word "kangaroo" derives from the Guugu Yimithirr word gangurru, referring to grey kangaroos. A common myth about the kangaroo's English name is that "kangaroo" was a Guugu Yimithirr phrase for "I don't understand you." According to this legend, James Cook and Sir Joseph Banks were exploring the area when they happened upon the animal. They asked a nearby local what the creatures were called. The local responded "Kangaroo", meaning "I don't understand you", which Cook took to be the name of the animal.
