St Davids Cathedral is situated in St Davids in the county of Pembrokeshire, on the most westerly point of Wales. The monastic community was founded by Saint David, Abbot of Menevia, who died in 589. In 1081, William the Conqueror visited St Davids to pray, and thus recognised it as a holy and respected place. In 1115, with the area under Norman control, King Henry I of England appointed Bishop Bernard as Bishop of St Davids. He began to improve life within the community, and commenced construction of a new cathedral. The new cathedral was quickly constructed and Bishop Bernard consecrated it in 1131. The present cathedral was begun in 1181 and completed not long after.

The building is best known for its murals by Diego Rivera, Siqueiros and others, as well as the many exhibitions and theatrical performances its hosts. The main facade, which faces Avenida Juarez, is made of white Italian Carrara marble. In the interior of the portal are sculptures by Italian Leonardo Bistolfi. It consists of "Harmony", surrounded by "Pain", "Rage", "Happiness", "Peace" and "Love". The history of Znamensky Monastery and its cathedral is closely linked with the history of the Romanov boyar family. The Znamensky Monastery is currently made up of five buildings. The most prominent is the Our Lady of the Sign Cathedral, named after the revered 12th century icon. From 1679-1684, according to a contract worth 850 rubles, Grigoriev and Anisimov built the Cathedral of Znamensky — which at the time was the second largest cathedral in Kitay Gorod after the St. Basil’s. The Znamensky Monastery — considered one of the main worship places of the Romanovs —was deconsecrated in the early 1920s as part of the Soviet anti-religious campaign. After 1991, religious services resumed in the church.

If you didn't know, Berlin Cathedral (German: Berliner Dom) is the common name for the Evangelical Supreme Parish and Collegiate Church. The Dom was designed by Julius Carl Raschdorff. Construction of the current building began in 1894 and was completed in 1905. The term Dom denotes a collegiate church (equivalent to the Italian duomo, or the English "Minster"); however, as most cathedrals are also collegiate churches, the term "Dom" has become the common term for a cathedral in German.

Daejosajeon or Great Teacher Hall is part of Guinsa (Temple of Salvation and Kindness), in the Yeonhwa area of the Sobaek Mountains located near Danyang in Chungcheongbuk-do, South Korea, the headquarters of the Cheontae school of Korean Buddhism. Unlike many of Korea's temples, Guinsa is fairly new, dating only back to 1945. The temple is strikingly located, squeezed into a narrow valley surrounded on all sides by mountains, and its location was decreed by head monk Sangwol Wongak's interpretation of the Lotus Sutra. The Great Teacher Hall is a shrine erected in the memory of Sangwol Wongak, a large statue of whom can be found inside.

It's construction began in 1787 at the directive of George Washington, and was completed on January 10, 1791 using a fund of $1,500, established by him. It is the oldest lighthouse in the state of Maine. The tower was built of rubblestone and it stands 80 feet (24 m) above ground and 101 feet (31 m) above water. Today the light station is automated, and the tower, beacon, and foghorn are maintained by the United States Coast Guard, while the former lighthouse keepers' house is a maritime museum.

Founded in 1862, Bannack is a ghost town in Beaverhead County, Montana, United States. It is currently a National Historic Landmark. The town was named after the local Bannock Indians. Bannack was the site of a major gold discovery in 1862, and served as the capital of Montana Territory briefly in 1864. At its peak, Bannack had a population of about ten thousand. The last residents left in the 1970s. Sixty historic log, brick, and frame structures remain standing in Bannack, many quite well preserved. One of these historical buildings is he the hotel featured in this fun new jigsaw puzzle.
