Lotus Flower Puzzle Details:

About: The lotus, also known as Indian lotus, sacred lotus or bean of India, is an aquatic plant in the family Nelumbonacea. The roots of lotus are anchored in the soil of the body of water's bottom, while the leaves float on the water surface or are held well above it. An individual lotus can live for over a thousand years and has the rare ability to revive into activity after stasis. From ancient times this flower has been a divine symbol in Asian traditions - it represents purity of the body and mind as if floating above the muddy waters of attachment and desire. It's because of this symbolism that most deities of Asian religions are depicted as seated on a lotus flower. Now that you know a bit more about this beautiful flower click start and put it together in today's new puzzle.

Bees And Flowers

Bees And Flowers

Bees and flowers have a symbiotic relationship (they benefit from one another). Bees pollinate flowers, which means they transfer pollen from the flowers of one plant to the flowers of another plant. Bees do not purposely do this. While trying to collect the pollen to take back to their hives some pollen is accidentally dropped on the flowers they land to collect more pollen. Pollination results in the formation of seeds. So, the bees get the pollen they need to survive and make honey and the plants grow fruit/seeds and reproduce.
