Cactus flowers usually have many stamens, but only a single style. The flower as a whole is usually radially symmetrical, but may be bilaterally symmetrical in some species. Flower colors range from white through yellow and red to magenta.

Sunflower Play

Sunflower

Another beautiful flowered themed puzzle is here. Today we feature a beautiful sunflower. What is usually called the "flower" on a mature sunflower is actually a "flower head" of numerous small flowers crowded together. The outer petal-bearing florets are sterile and can be yellow, red, orange, or other colors. The florets inside the circular head are called disc florets, which mature into seeds. A common misconception is that flowering sunflower heads track the Sun across the sky. Although immature flower buds exhibit this behaviour, the mature flowering heads point in a fixed irection throughout the day.
