These type of twin-engine, single main rotor, MEDEVAC-capable search and rescue (SAR) helicopters are operated by the United States Coast Guard (USCG). There are now a total of 102 Dolphins in the Coast Guard Fleet. The Dolphin's main jobs are: search and rescue, enforcement of laws and treaties, marine environmental protection.
