Fresh Kiwifruit

Fresh Kiwifruit

As you can see in this puzzle, kiwifruit or Chinese gooseberry has a fibrous, dull greenish-brown skin and bright green or golden flesh with rows of tiny, black, edible seeds. Kiwi is native to north-central and eastern China. Although kiwifruit is a national fruit of China, until recently, China was not a major producing country of kiwifruit, as it was traditionally collected from the wild. It is a commercial crop in several countries, such as Italy, New Zealand, Chile, Greece, and France. Kiwifruit may be eaten raw, made into juices, used in baked goods, prepared with meat or used as a garnish. It is particularly rich in vitamin C and vitamin K, has a moderate content of vitamin E, with no other micronutrients in significant content.
Redcurrant Berries And Milk

Redcurrant Berries And Milk

The fruit of redcurrants can be eaten raw, but it has a strong, tart flavour. It can be made into jams and jellies. With maturity, the tart flavour of redcurrant fruit is slightly greater than its blackcurrant relative, but with the same approximate sweetness. In the United Kingdom, redcurrant jelly is a condiment often served with lamb, game meat including venison, turkey and goose in a festive or Sunday roast. In France, the highly rarefied and hand-made Bar-le-duc or Lorraine jelly is a spreadable preparation traditionally made from white currants or alternatively redcurrants.
Starfruit

Starfruit

Carambola, commonly referred to as starfruit, is the fruit of Averrhoa carambola, a species of tree native to the Philippines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Nepal, India, Bangladesh and Sri Lanka. The fruit is about 5 to 15 centimeters (2 to 6 inches) in length and is an oval shape. It usually has five prominent longitudinal ridges. The skin is thin, smooth, and waxy and turns a light to dark yellow when ripe. The flesh is translucent and light yellow to yellow in color. Carambolas are best consumed shortly after they ripen, when they are yellow with a light shade of green or just after all traces of green have disappeared. The juice from carambolas is also used in iced drinks, particularly the juice of the sour varieties.
