In today's puzzle we feature some delicious apricots and raspberries. The apricot tree originated in China, where it was first cultivated over 4000 years ago. The tree is small, 8–12 m (26–39 ft) tall, with a trunk up to 40 cm (16 in) in diameter and a dense, spreading canopy. It's yellow-orange fruits, the apricots. are rich in vitamins and minerals. They are usually eaten raw but the are also turned into preserves, juice or dried.

Freshly Baked Mini Baguettes

If you didn't know, a baguette is a long, thin loaf of French bread. It has a diameter of about 5 to 6 centimeters (2–2,5 inches) and a usual length of about 65 cm (26 in), although a baguette can be up to 1 m (39 in) long. In this food themed puzzle we feature a bunch of freshly baked mini baguettes. They are smaller in size and can easily fit in a bread basket.

Teatime

If you didn't know, tea (in reference to food, rather than the drink) has long been used as an umbrella term for several different meals. Teatime is the time at which the tea meal is usually eaten, which is late afternoon to early evening. Bruschetta originated in Italy during 15th century and it was developed as a way of salvaging bread that was going stale. The noun bruschetta comes from the Roman dialect verb bruscare, the equivalent which means "to toast", or "to roast over coals".
