The oldest wooden skis found were in Russia (c. 6300-5000 BCE), Sweden (c. 5200 BCE) and Norway (c. 3200 BCE) respectively. They have evolved from being constructed from solid wood to using a variety of materials including carbon-Kevlar to make skis stronger, stiffer, lighter, and more durable. Skis are attached to ski boots with ski bindings, with either a free, lockable, or partially secured heel.

Metropolitan Subway Train

In today's new puzzle we're in Seoul, Korea waiting for a train. The Seoul Metropolitan Subway system consist of 22 rapid transit, light metro, commuter rail and people mover lines. The network consists of numbered lines 1 through 9, which serve Seoul City proper and its surroundings and other specifically named regional railways that serve the greater metropolitan region and beyond. The first line of the Seoul Subway network started construction in 1971. Typically, train cars (like the ones in this puzzle) have four doors on each side. In between the doors are rows seats for 7 people, except for the outer ends of each wagon where there are smaller rows of seats for 3 people, marked for the use by the elderly, disabled passengers, and pregnant women. All trains are 19.6 meters in length, 3.12 meters in width, and 3.8 meters in height.

These kind of colorful stones are usually a piece of mineral crystal. Depending on their contents these kind of stones can come in a variety of colors. Their colors are influenced mostly by the impurities they contain, these elements absorb certain colors and leave the other colors unaffected - giving the stones their color. They are also called gemstones or semi-precious stones. Some of them can be used to make jewelry or other adornments; they can also be engraved or carved into objects (such as cups, small figurines, etc.).
