Vintage Yamaha Motrcycle

Vintage Yamaha Motrcycle

The motorcycle division of Yamaha was founded in 1955. Yamaha's initial product was a 125 cc two-cycle, single cylinder motorcycle, the YA-1. Early success in racing set the tone for Yamaha, as competition in many varieties of motorcycle racing has been a key endeavor of the company throughout its history. By 1963 Yamaha's dedication to both the two-stroke engine and racing paid off with their first victory in international competition, at the Belgium GP, where they won the 250cc class. Since then Yamaha has won 39 world championships, including 6 in MotoGP and 9 in the preceding 500 cc two-stroke class, and 1 in World Superbike. So what are you waiting for? Jump aboard the classic motorcycle featured in today's new puzzle and let's go for a ride! Have fun!
Totem Pole

Totem Pole

This new jigsaw puzzle features a beautiful totem pole. Totem poles are monumental sculptures carved from large trees, mostly Western Red Cedar, by cultures of the indigenous peoples of the Pacific Northwest Coast of North America. The meanings of the designs on totem poles are as varied as the cultures that make them. Totem poles may recount familiar legends, clan lineages, or notable events. Some poles celebrate cultural beliefs, but others are mostly artistic presentations. Certain types of totem poles are part of mortuary structures, and incorporate grave boxes with carved supporting poles, or recessed backs for grave boxes. Poles illustrate stories that commemorate historic persons, represent shamanic powers, or provide objects of public ridicule.
Mount Rushmore National Memorial

Mount Rushmore National Memorial

In this fun puzzle we're visiting the impressive Mount Rushmore National Memorial in Keystone, South Dakota in the United States. At first, the project of carving Rushmore was undertaken to increase tourism in the Black Hills region of South Dakota. After long negotiations involving a Congressional delegation and President Calvin Coolidge, the project received Congressional approval. Sculptor Gutzon Borglum created the sculpture's design (featuring the heads of four United States presidents: George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, Theodore Roosevelt, and Abraham Lincoln) and oversaw the project's execution from 1927 to 1941. The memorial is carved on the northwest margin of the Black Elk Peak granite batholith in the Black Hills of South Dakota. Mount Rushmore is the state's top tourist attraction. So what are you waiting for? Click play and rebuilt this impressive monument piece by piece and complete this fun new jigsaw puzzle game. Have fun!
Pebbles

Pebbles

Pebbles are found in two locations – on the beaches of various oceans and seas, and inland where ancient seas used to cover the land. They can also be found in lakes, ponds and rivers. Beach pebbles and river pebbles are used for a variety of purposes, both outdoors and indoors. Outdoors, pebbles are often used for landscaping, construction and as decorative elements. Now that you know a bit more about these type of rocks, click start and put them back together piece by piece and solve today's new jigsaw puzzle. Have fun!
Rope

Rope

Rope and more rope in today's puzzle of the day. The use of ropes for pulling, fastening, lifting, attaching, climbing, and carrying dates back to prehistoric times. The laid rope, also called twisted rope, that you see in the image is historically the prevalent form of rope. Common twisted rope generally consists of three strands and is normally right-laid, or given a final right-handed twist. Most twisted ropes are built up in three steps. First, fibres are gathered and spun into yarns. These yarns are then formed into strands by twisting. The strands are then twisted together into actual rope. The twist of the yarn is opposite to that of the strand, and that in turn is opposite to that of the rope. This counter-twist, introduced with each successive operation, holds the rope together and gives it more strength.
Two Acorns

Two Acorns

In today's new jigsaw puzzle we're going for a hike in a oak forest. The acorns, or oak nuts, you see in the puzzle image are the nuts of the oaks. They contain a single seed, enclosed in a tough, leathery shell, and borne in a cup-shaped cupule. The volume of the acorns may vary wildly, creating great abundance or great stress on the many animals dependent on acorns and the predators of those animals. Acorns play an important role in forest ecology. The Norse legend that Thor sheltered from a thunderstorm under an oak tree has led to the belief that having an acorn on a windowsill will prevent a house from being struck by lightning, hence the popularity of window blind pulls decorated as acorns.
