Choose a difficulty level, click start and let's explore every ship in this harbor. From wooden sail boats to steam powered ships this nautical museum has them all. Ships have been important contributors to human migration and commerce. The first known vessels date back about 10,000 years ago, but could not be described as ships. The oldest discovered sea faring hulled boat is the Late Bronze Age Uluburun shipwreck off the coast of Turkey, dating back to 1300 BC. Until the Renaissance, navigational technology remained comparatively primitive. Ship designs stayed fairly unchanged until the late 19th century when the industrial revolution, new mechanical methods of propulsion, and the ability to construct ships from metal triggered an explosion in ship design.

Keyboard and Mouse

Despite the development of alternative input devices, such as the mouse, touchscreen, pen devices, character recognition and voice recognition, the keyboard remains the most commonly used device for interacting with a computer. As for the mouse- the earliest known publication of the term as a computer pointing device is in Bill English's 1965 publication "Computer-Aided Display Control". Around 1981 Xerox included mice with its Xerox Star, based on the mouse used in the 1970s on the Alto computer at Xerox PARC. Sun Microsystems, Symbolics, Lisp Machines Inc., and Tektronix also shipped workstations with mice, starting in about 1981. Later, inspired by the Star, Apple Computer released the Apple Lisa, which also used a mouse. However, none of these products achieved large-scale success. Only with the release of the Apple Macintosh in 1984 did the mouse see widespread use.

Library Bookshelves

A library is organized for use and maintained by a public body, an institution, a corporation, or a private individual. The first libraries consisted of archives of the earliest form of writing—the clay tablets in cuneiform script discovered in Sumer, some dating back to 2600 BC. Libraries often provide quiet areas for studying, and they also often offer common areas to facilitate group study and collaboration. In a library books are usually stored on bookcases, or bookshelves, pieces of furniture with horizontal shelves, often in a cabinet.here are three common ways of arranging stationary bookcases: flat against the wall; in stacks or ranges parallel to each other with merely enough space between to allow for the passage of a librarian; or in bays or alcoves, where cases jut out into the room at right angles to the wall-cases. So what are waiting for? Click start and join us in the library for a fun and challenging jigsaw puzzle. Have fun!
