About: Colored pencils (US-English), coloured pencils (UK-English, Canada-English), pencil crayons (Canada-English), lead or coloured/colouring leads (Newfoundland-English); no matter what you call them, today's new puzzle features a row of them on a piece o brown cardboard. The use of wax-based mediums in crayons can be traced back to the Greek Golden Age. It was not until the early 20th century that artist-quality colored pencils were produced (by manufacturers like Faber-Castell in 1908 and Caran d’Ache in 1924, followed by Berol Prismacolor in 1938). Yellow, blue, red, black, green, pink ,green are just some of the colors of the pencils in today's game.
