Colorful Neckties Puzzle Details:

About: The modern necktie can be traced back to the time of the Thirty Years' War (1618–1648) . In that period the mercenaries from the Croatian Military Frontier in French service where wearing their traditional small, knotted neckerchiefs and influenced Parisian fashion. Louis XIV began wearing a lace cravat about 1646 and set the fashion for French nobility. This new article of clothing started a fashion craze in Europe for both women and men. The standard length is 140 cm, though other lengths are available and vary from 117 cm to 152 cm. There are four main knots used to knot neckties, these are: the four-in-hand knot, the Pratt knot (the Shelby knot), the half-Windsor knot and the Windsor knot.
