Mailboxes Puzzle Details:

About: The mail is here! Today we feature four curbside style mailboxes. The traditional dome-rectangular or 'tunnel-top' design first established in 1915 by postal regulations in the U.S. Currently, curbside mailboxes are classified as (T) Traditional, (C) Contemporary, or (L) Locking. Traditional or Contemporary non-locking curbside mailboxes are approved in three sizes - No. 1, No. 2, or No. 3, measured by minimum interior dimensions. These kind of mail boxes also come fitted with a semaphore or signal flag mounted on an attached arm. This flag is used to signal the postman or the owner that new mail needs to be picked up.

Mickey and Minnie Mouse

In this puzzle we feature two of the most well known cartoon characters: Mickey Mouse and his girlfriend Minnie Mouse. We all know Mickey but did you know that Minnie was designed in the fashion of a "flapper" girl. Her main outfit consisted of a short flapper girl dress that often revealed her distinctive patched knickers. For comedic effect, she wears over-sized high heeled pumps that are too big for her feet. Her heels often slip out of her shoes, and she even loses her shoes completely. Minnie almost always wears red or pink, but in her early appearances she could be seen wearing a combination of blue, black or green.

Mushrooms On A Mossy Log Play

Mushrooms On A Mossy Log

Another nature inspired game is here. In this new puzzle ewe feature some tiny mushrooms growing on a mossy log in the middle of the forest. Many species of mushrooms seemingly appear overnight, growing or expanding rapidly. This phenomenon is the source of several common expressions in the English language including "to mushroom" or "mushrooming" and "to pop up like a mushroom". In reality all species of mushrooms take several days to form primordial mushroom fruit bodies, though they do expand rapidly by the absorption of fluids. Though mushroom fruiting bodies are short-lived, the underlying mycelium can itself be long-lived and massive. A colony in Malheur National Forest in the United States is estimated to be 2,400 years old, possibly older, and spans an estimated 2,200 acres.
Street Lamp And Blue Windows Play

Street Lamp And Blue Windows

Take a few minutes and relax with today's new game featuring a golden street lamp in front of an old building with blue wooden windows. The use of street lighting was first recorded in the city of Antioch from the 4th century. Before incandescent lamps, candle lighting was employed in cities. The earliest lamps required that a lamplighter tour the town at dusk, lighting each of the lamps. The first widespread system of street lighting used piped coal gas as fuel. The first electric street lighting employed arc lamps, initially the 'Electric candle', 'Jablotchkoff candle' or 'Yablochkov candle' developed by a Russian, Pavel Yablochkov, in 1875. Today, street lighting commonly uses high-intensity discharge lamps, and most recently LED lighting.
