About African Lion and Cub: African lions live in scattered populations across Sub-Saharan Africa. They prefer grassy plains and savannahs, scrub bordering rivers and open woodlands with bushes. Lions are social animals, living in groups of related individuals with their cubs. Such a group is called a "pride".
