As its name suggests, the Dusky Parrot has a predominantly dusky or dark gray plumage, a pinkish-red tinge to the belly, and red undertail coverts. Dusky Parrots re often described as more reserved compared to some of their more boisterous parrot cousins. In the wild, they inhabit humid lowland forests and woodlands, where they forage for seeds, fruits, and vegetation.

Empty seashells are often found washed up on beaches. They are the protective outer layer usually created by an animal that lives in the sea. A seashell is usually the exoskeleton of an invertebrate. The ones on beaches are the shells of marine mollusks.
