The park is filled with large sandstone rock formations, that were created during a geological upheaval along a natural fault line millions of years ago. The park is popular for biking, hiking, rock climbing, and horseback riding. Because of the unusual and steep rock formations in the park, it is especially attractive for rock climbers.
