Crested Butte is a mountain summit in the Elk Mountains range of the Rocky Mountains of North America. The mountain rises to 12,162 feet (3,707 m) above sea level. Today we're going to Arizona to visit Monument Valley. The valley is located on the Utah-Arizona state line and it's known for it's cluster of vast sandstone buttes, the largest reaching 300 m above the valley floor. If you didn't know a butte is an isolated hill with steep, often vertical sides and a small, relatively flat top. Buttes form by weathering and erosion. Monument Valley has some of the largest, most distinctive and widely recognized buttes.

In today's puzzle we're visiting Spider Rock, a 750 feet (229 m) sandstone spire that rises from the canyon floor at the junction of Canyon de Chelly and Monument Canyon. The sandstone spire was formed over millions of years by the erosive forces of wind and water. It consists of two main spires rising from the canyon floor. In Navajo mythology, Spider Rock is associated with the figure of "Spider Woman" - a significant character in Navajo creation stories and is believed to be a spiritual being who taught the Navajo people the art of weaving. If you want to visit this amazing place, know that Canyon de Chelly is located in northeastern Arizona. It's one of the most visited national monuments in the United States. As you might of guessed from the title, today we're visiting Vahrn in Tyrol near Brixen. Or better said, a beautiful part of it as by William Stanley Haseltine in the 1800s. Haseltine (June 11, 1835 – February 3, 1900) was an American painter and draftsman who was associated with the Dusseldorf school of painting, the Hudson River School and Luminism. This beautiful landscape was painted in watercolor and gouache on blue wove paper.
