As you might of guessed from the title, today we're visiting Vahrn in Tyrol near Brixen. Or better said, a beautiful part of it as by William Stanley Haseltine in the 1800s. Haseltine (June 11, 1835 – February 3, 1900) was an American painter and draftsman who was associated with the Dusseldorf school of painting, the Hudson River School and Luminism. This beautiful landscape was painted in watercolor and gouache on blue wove paper.
