If you didn't know, grape hyacinths ( also commonly referred to as bluebells) produce spikes of dense, most commonly blue, urn-shaped flowers resembling bunches of grapes in the spring. The flowers appear in the spring and their color varies from pale blue to a very dark blue, almost black in some cases.
If you didn't know, there are 42 species of dahlia and more than 57,000 registered cultivars, with hybrids commonly grown as garden plants. Dahlia flowers are brightly colored, displaying most hues, with the exception of blue. Dahlias are native to Mexico and Central America and was declared the national flower of Mexico in 1963.
Roses are appreciated and grown for their beautiful and often are fragrant flowers. They come in a variety of colors ranging from white through yellows and reds. Raw dandelion greens contain high amounts of vitamins A, C, and K, and are moderate sources of calcium, potassium, iron, and manganese.
