If you didn't know, sequoioideae, popularly known as redwoods, is a subfamily of coniferous trees. These trees are the tallest, among the oldest, and one of the most massive tree species on Earth.
Today's we visiting the Garden of the Gods, a public park located in Colorado Springs, Colorado, United States. The park is filled with large sandstone rock formations, that were created during a geological upheaval along a natural fault line millions of years ago. The park is popular for biking, hiking, rock climbing, and horseback riding. Because of the unusual and steep rock formations in the park, it is especially attractive for rock climbers.
