This new puzzle is based on Pieter Bruegel the Elder's oil-on-panel painting "The Peasant Dance". The lively peasant scene provides the viewer with a glimpse of social history, but it is likely that Bruegel intended this painting to have a moral sense rather than simply being an affectionate portrayal of peasant life. The panel, neither signed nor dated, was painted circa 1567, at about the same time as "The Peasant Wedding".

Today's new jigsaw puzzle welcomes you into a world where light and life intertwine. The tender, bright-green leaves stretch eagerly toward the sun, while the older, broader ones bear the marks of time and weather. These leaves are more than just decoration - on grapevines, they act as solar panels, capturing sunlight to fuel the growth of sweet, clustered fruit. If you look closely, their veins form a living map, guiding water and nutrients through the plant’s system. In Mediterranean traditions, young vine leaves are even harvested and wrapped around rice, herbs, or meat to create delicious dolma. The play of shadow and light across the foliage invites you to step closer, to feel the texture, and to imagine the promise of grapes ripening nearby.

Another art inspired puzzle is here. In this new one we feature "The Poor Poet" - the best known and most popular painting by German painter Carl Spitzweg. The best known version is now in the Neue Pinakothek, Munich (the one featured in this puzzle). Another version was held in the National Gallery, Berlin. The one featured in this puzzle depicts a poet in his poor attic room. Spitzweg possibly borrowed his title from the drama by August von Kotzebue, The Poor Poet (1812).
